There's no getting around it — death is something people of all beliefs can relate to and will experience in their lifetime. The Town of Wappinger is a multi-cultural community and is home to diverse beliefs and faiths, each rich in history and tradition.

This special presentation will begin with an archeological, scientific view of death, burial, and the afterlife beliefs of ancient civilizations. Thereafter, leaders of several local faith communities will share their cultural views, customs, traditions and rituals surrounding death and dying. Moderated by Kristin Catalano of Straub, Catalano and Halvey Funeral Home, and Dani Masterson, WHS Trustee and program facilitator.
