Kentucky Derby Gala at Lucky Orphans Horse Rescue

Join Lucky Orphans in celebrating the 150th Kentucky Derby and honoring Dutchess County Executive Sue Serino, New York State Thoroughbred Breeders Executive Najja Thompson, and Lucky Orphans' grant writer Dawn Isaacson.

Dress in your best derby attire while cheering on the horses in the first race of the Triple Crown! Gates open at 5 p.m., and the party starts with hors d'oeuvres, beverages, live music and games. Watch the race live at the farm while enjoying dinner, dancing and an open bar. Meet thoroughbred race champions Montauk Traffic and Tiz He the One, as well as Millbrook-bred thoroughbred celebrity Danebury!
