Mount Gulian Historic Site and the Hudson River Valley National Heritage Area team up to present a talk about the local history of the Lenape Native Americans, the first inhabitants of the region. The talk, given by Harv Hilowitz, Contributing Scholar for the Maritime Museum in Kingston, will focus on Lenape lifeways before the Contact Period and delve into the Lenape diaspora. as well as the current renaissance and return to the area.
