Beacon HorrorShow Pasta Night at the Poughkeepsie Underwear Factory: "Tremors"

Pasta Night is Story Screen's monthly celebration of VHS-era cinema, and it's now found it's new home at the Poughkeepsie Underwear Factory! Each event will showcase multiple vendors within the VHS and film community offering awesome items for sale. The kitchen will also be whipping out $7 plates of pasta. There will also be concessions and drinks, and Little Loaf Bakery will be slinging delicious vegan Italian sweets and bread! This leads up to a film screening on glorious VHS! Come on out and support those lovable, little plastic boxes with other nerds who share that same nostalgic love. And see a cool movie in the way it was truly never meant to be seen.

This screening is also part of the Beacon HorrorShow, which returns for its ninth year with over 10 special events all October long throughout the Hudson Valley.

Film synopsis: Repairmen Val McKee (Kevin Bacon) and Earl Bassett (Fred Ward) are tired of their dull lives in the small desert town of Perfection, Nev. But just as the two try to skip town, they happen upon a series of mysterious deaths and a concerned seismologist (Finn Carter) studying unnatural readings below the ground. With the help of an eccentric couple (Reba McEntire, Michael Gross), the group fights for survival against giant, worm-like monsters hungry for human flesh. Rated PG-13.
