A three-day course for those passionate about sustainability, biodiversity, and caring for Mother Earth, this retreat is a rare opportunity to explore in person the revolutionary, regenerative work of Vandana Shiva, one of the world's leading activists for biodiversity, indigenous and traditional cultures, feminism, and the environment.

Through lecture, discussion, and personal reflective time in nature, this course will explore the nature of the multiple interconnected crises facing life on Earth and how the wisdom to be found in traditional agroecology offers humanity a sustainable and achievable roadmap for a positive future, both locally and globally.

Physicist, ecologist, activist, editor, and author of numerous books, Vandana is a tireless defender of the environment. She is the founder of Navdanya, a movement for biodiversity conservation and farmers' rights. She is also the founder and director of the Research Foundation for Science, Technology and Natural Resource Policy. Vandana fights for changes in the practice and paradigms of agriculture and food: "I don't want to live in a world where five giant companies control our health and our food."
