Story Screen's Free Movies in the Park: "The Princess Bride" (Rescheduled to Aug. 30)

The City of Beacon and Story Screen are partnering up yet again for a summer of movies in the parks! All four free screenings are open to the public, first come first serve for seating. Please remember to bring your own chairs and blankets. Members of the Story Screen Family will be present throughout the events slinging free fresh popcorn and selling soft drinks, candy and other snacks. All events are open at 8 p.m., and the screenings will begin at sunset.

This event features a screening of the 1987 classic "The Princess Bride" at Riverfront Park in Beacon.

Film Synopsis: A fairy tale adventure about a beautiful young woman and her one true love. He must find her after a long separation and save her. They must battle the evils of the mythical kingdom of Florin to be reunited with each other. Based on the William Goldman novel "The Princess Bride" which earned its own loyal audience.
