This hands-on activity demonstrates an authentic magic lantern and optical toys of the 19th century. Children can enjoy a toy lantern to see how it works, and then hand-color their own lantern slide to bring home. They can also create a thaumatrope and enjoy Victorian toys and free ice cream, courtesy of Stewart’s Shops. Recommended for ages 7 to 99! Click here to make the recommended reservations.
