Classical American Homes Preservation Trust invites you to tour Edgewater, the majestic 19th century mansion on the banks of the Hudson River. Built in 1824 for Rawlins Lowndes Brown and his wife Margaretta Livingston Brown, the opulent country estate's owners through the years have included famous writer Gore Vidal and prominent businessman Richard Hampton Jenrette. Guided tours are scheduled for the third Saturday of each month from April through October. Tours begin at 10 a.m., 12 p.m. and 2:30 p.m. Click here to purchase tickets.
