Prepare your ears: Upstate Films’ two biggest theaters have been outfitted with new speakers, amps and controllers. For the month of April, they’ll celebrate these renovations by displaying films that showcase the art of cinematic sound in their legendary theaters with legendary sound. Screenings and events will be held at Starr Cinema in Rhinebeck and Orpheum Theater in Saugerties.
