The Poughkeepsie Waterfront Market's seventh season will run from May 2 through Oct. 24 on Tuesday afternoons from 2 to 5:30 p.m. in the Pavilion at the Mid-Hudson Discovery Museum. The Market offers a wide range of farm-fresh greens and vegetables, fruits, herbs, apple cider, baked goods, eggs, meat, poultry, maple products and much more. The Market will also feature prepared-food vendors and local artisans selling hand-crafted items.
The Market accepts SNAP / EBT benefits and WIC / Farmers Market Nutrition Program checks. The Market is also participating in the Double Up Food Bucks New York program, which matches SNAP / EBT purchases one-to-one (up to $20 per week) to purchase fruits and vegetables for free.
