Explore the Hudson River aboard the Sloop Clearwater, "Americas Environmental Flagship," from the historic riverfront city of Beacon, with live music played by NOGA and Adam Cabo. This sail is accessible by Metro-North and the Beacon Free Loop, and parking is available on the river side of the train station. As an added bonus, get a free pint at Two Way Brewery (walking distance from dock) with your dated sail ticket!
Dont forget to visit the crew at the fish tank to see some Hudson River critters, join the captain at the helm to take a turn on the tiller, and enjoy Clearwaters traditional moment of silence broken by song before returning to the dock.
Each sail is a journey to fully realize the beauty of the Hudson River Valley, tall ship sailing and local environmental concerns. To purchase tickets, click here.
More about NOGA Cabo: NOGA is a singer-songwriter, composer and creator of interdisciplinary art whose songs will take you on a journey through intricate rhythmic grooves woven with indie/folk-inspired melodies. Born and raised in Beacon, she grew up surrounded by a vibrant community of musicians. She is a three-time national YoungArts Award recipient, and her original song Stephen Said! was featured in Stern Auditorium at Carnegie Hall. During her year studying at New England Conservatory, she was commissioned to compose MOSAIC, a collection of interdisciplinary pieces that explored themes of immigration and the artistic process. The influences of her familys multicultural background are reflected in their latest collaborative work, "The Cabo Project." She will be releasing her debut Solo EP in the coming months.
