This program examines the life and works of Rhinebeck native Olin Dows, a famous painter of Dutchess County scenery and a leader of President Franklin D. Roosevelt's Depression-era art programs in public buildings and post offices. Chip Holman will speak on Dows' local work from the 1930s and the period leading up to World War II.
