Third Sunday Bannerman Island Tours with Live Music

The Third Sunday Music Concert Series on Bannerman Island features a live musical performance to accompany visitors while they tour the island. Tours run each month from May through October. The Flash Company Band brings its Celtic Folk sounds to the island on July 17. The Storm King Duo of Judith Tulloch and Steve Franchino perform their blend of pop, Brazilian and bluesy jazz music on Sept. 18. Catch one of the Hudson Valley's most popular duos, GG and the Shades, on Oct. 16.

To get to the island, you can take a scenic boat ride from the Beacon dock aboard the BCT’s Estuary Steward tour boat. Once you're on the island, enjoy a self-guided walking tour of the Bannerman Castle ruins and gardens. Explore the original Bannerman residence, which is now a museum.
