The Mount Gulian Historic Site in Beacon will hold its 26th-annual History Dinner. This living-history event is open to the public and will present two of our most remarkable Founding Fathers: John Adams and Thomas Jefferson.

The evening will showcase a catered affair, including a sumptuous, four-course dinner based on colonial recipes. Cocktails and hors d’oeuvres will be served on the scenic riverside lawn prior to dinner. Actors Peyton Dixon (Adams) and Steve Edenbo (Jefferson), of the American Historical Theatre, will portray the honored guests. Diners will be invited to view the world of the early days of America through the eyes of these remarkable men. Their teamwork, friendship, rivalry and renewed friendship is perhaps the most famous relationship between two Presidents of the United States.

The dinner, prepared by Bridgecreek Catering, will be served in Mount Gulian’s circa-1730s Dutch barn. For more details, click here.
