Run With the Dogs in ARF Race in Beacon

The annual ARF Run With The Dogs five-kilometer run/walk is back to being an in-person event at Memorial Park in Beacon! Animal lovers, athletes and dogs of all ages hit the pavement in support of ARF, a no-kill, all volunteer animal rescue and shelter in Beacon. All participating dogs must be well-behaved and non-aggressive with people and other dogs. All dogs must be leashed and current on all vaccines. Strollers are welcome as well. Participants also have the option to register for the virtual event and run or walk five kilometers anywhere between May 16 and 22. Pre-registered participants will receive an event T-shirt. Awards for the in-person race will go to the topthree male and female finishers, the top male and female in several age divisions, and the best dog in costume.
