Delve into the works of four great American artists: Winslow Homer, Frederic Remington, Augustus Saint-Gaudens and Louis Comfort Tiffany.

The Wappingers Historical Society Speaker Series program presents lifetime WHS member and scholar of art history, John DiDomizio. He has been a student of art history since his first visit to the Metropolitan Museum of Art 60 years ago. As a collector of American art, John will discuss Winslow’s “Snap the Whip;" Remington’s “Coming Through the Rye;" Tiffany’s “View of Oyster Bay;" and Saint-Gaudens’ “General Sherman and Victory” statue, along with 20 other works of these artists.

The public is invited to attend. Seating is limited. Refreshments will be served. Please RSVP via the Historical Society website. Street parking available for the American Legion Hall in Wappingers Falls.
