The Poughkeepsie Waterfront Market opens its sixth season on May 2 and will run weekly through Oct. 24 on Monday afternoons from 3 to 6:30 p.m. in the Pavilion at the Mid-Hudson Children’s Museum. The Opening Day festivities will include a live performance by percussionist Clifford Johnson, along with free activities for the kids. The Market offers a wide range of farm-fresh greens and vegetables, fruit, herbs, apple cider, baked goods, eggs, poultry, and vegetable plant-starts.
