A multi-day event experiencing Gospel Music in the Heart of the Hudson Valley. This weekend will explore gospel music through time and offer breakout/workshop sessions focusing on traditional and contemporary gospel, call and response, spoken word, shedding, open voice workshops, visual arts, music directing, youth choir (ages 13-18) and drum and dance ministry.

6:00 p.m. Dinner buffet

7:00 p.m. National Anthem performed by United States Military Academy Cadet Gospel Choir. Evening performance by The Hudson Valley Community Gospel Choir as well as a Gospel Walk Through History which explores the genre through time.
 

Saturday, February 22, 2020

9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Gospel Workshops*

40-minute breakout sessions for adults and youth will focus on traditional and contemporary gospel. Click here for information on all workshops. *Please note: the only way to participate in the Gospel Workshops is to purchase the Weekend Pass.

6:00 p.m. Doors open for Red Carpet Pictures

7:00 p.m. Performance by the Hudson Valley Community Gospel Choir, then Headline Performers Everett Drake and Livingstone College Gospel Choir

12:00 p.m. Brunch and Hat Parade

1:30 p.m. Performance by  Just Voices, the Hudson Valley Community Gospel Choir, and Headliner Performer Edwrin Sutton
