The Hudson-Fulton Celebration of 1909' is a documentary film by Joe Santacroce.

Climb on board our Wright Flyer Time Machine as we go back and look at Henry Hudson’s Voyages, especially the Third Voyage where he sailed into New York Bay in 1609 and up the Hudson River to just above Albany, and back. We will then fast forward to Robert Fulton and take a brief look at his life and work. We will go with him on that first ride on The North River Steamboat in 1807 and up the Hudson River to Just above Albany, and back. We then move to New York in the early 1900's and the Hudson-Fulton Celebration of 1909 that promoted celebrating Hudson’s Bravery and Fulton’s Genius. We will follow the Celebration up the Hudson River, to just above Albany, and back.

Refreshments will be served, courtesy of the Wappingers Historical Society. Voluntary donations are always appreciated.  www.wappingershistoricalspciety.org
