"Hollywood Goes to War" Film Series at the FDR Library: "Hollywood Canteen"

The Franklin D. Roosevelt Presidential Library and Museum continues its year-long film series “Hollywood Goes to War, 1941-1945” with a screening of the 1944 film "Hollywood Canteen." On medical leave in Los Angeles to recover from injuries sustained on the Pacific front, Corporal Slim Green (Robert Hutton) and Sergeant Nolan (Dane Clark) discover the Hollywood Canteen, a USO-inspired club staffed entirely by Hollywood stars.
