The Stanford Historical Society presents three Rev250 lectures examining life in the Hudson Valley during the Revolutionary War. The lectures will be held at the Stanford Free Library.

• Sept. 19 — Dillon Striefeneder: "Looking Backward, Looking Forward: Change and Continuity in Stanford, N.Y., from the Revolution to the Era of Good Feelings"

• Oct. 17 — Tony Musso: "The American Revolution in the Hudson Valley"

• Nov. 21 — Jack Kelly: Since this is the bicentennial of the opening of the Erie Canal, a program will be presented on "Heaven's Ditch," which looked at the religious/political impact of the canal on New York (and the country).
