The Stanford Historical Society presents three Rev250 lectures examining life in the Hudson Valley during the Revolutionary War. The lectures will be held at the Stanford Free Library.
Sept. 19 Dillon Striefeneder: "Looking Backward, Looking Forward: Change and Continuity in Stanford, N.Y., from the Revolution to the Era of Good Feelings"
Oct. 17 Tony Musso: "The American Revolution in the Hudson Valley"
Nov. 21 Jack Kelly: Since this is the bicentennial of the opening of the Erie Canal, a program will be presented on "Heaven's Ditch," which looked at the religious/political impact of the canal on New York (and the country).
