Powerhouse Theater at Vassar College: "In This Economy?"

This Powerhouse Theater 40th anniversary summer season at Vassar College features another superb lineup of imaginative and insightful plays, workshops and works-in-progress. Powerhouse has been a launching pad for emerging artists and their groundbreaking works. In fact, the 2016 Tony Award winners for Best Play and Best Musical — Stephen Karam’s "The Humans" and Lin Manuel Miranda’s "Hamilton" — both trace their roots to Powerhouse. Perhaps one of this year's productions will be the next big smash!

"In This Economy?"

• Performed by the Training Company, "In This Economy?" uses the gestural composing language of Soundpainting to create an ensemble-based improvised performance about what things cost.
