Head to the Visitors Center at Clermont State Historic Site on Saturday mornings this summer for free crafting workshops for kids. Each week, there will be a different craft in relation to Clermont, its history, and its local ecosystem. Make it a day by hiking the grounds or enjoying a picnic overlooking the river. Mansion tours for kids 12 and younger are free!

• July 26: Designing a Coat of Arms

• Aug. 2: Hot Air Balloons and Sailing Ships
