Art Gallery 71 presents "Riverlight: Hudson River Images" by Rhinebeck artist Elisabeth Barnett. Elisabeth is a plein air oil painter whose painting allows her to deeply connect with the natural world, and to capture images with resonance and beauty. She has shown her work in juried and member galleries and shows throughout the Hudson Valley. The current show highlights the Hudson River with its different nuances and seasons.

• Opening reception: Saturday, July 19, 4–6pm (presentation on protecting the river at 5:30 p.m.)

• Gallery hours: Fridays and Saturdays 12–6 p.m.; Sundays and Holiday Mondays 10 a.m.–4 p.m.; or by appointment

• Note: Visit between July 11 and 19 to register for two free raffle tickets for the Solaris, a solar powered boat run by the Hudson River Maritime Museum in Kingston
