Enjoy a scavenger hunt through the mansion while learning about the holiday traditions of the people who worked for the Livingstons, from as far away as Japan to as close as Germantown. The “Merry Monsters,” lovingly depicted by local artists, showcase the holiday and cultural beliefs of real people who worked at Clermont in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. This will be a great adventure for families with curious kids who love to read or parents who cherish the opportunity to read with their children. End your visit with a snack and a monster mini wreath class inside the historic kitchen.
