Introducing the Wethersfield Adventurers Club, led by certified teacher Diane Ritters, who brings decades of experience instilling a passion for science in children. Wethersfield Estate & Garden invites families to venture into the most beautiful of all classrooms – the vast tapestry of nature. The six-week program focuses on a variety of topics, including how seeds grow, how gardens grow, how pollinators work to architect our food chain and much more. This engaging romp into nature is designed for children ages 5 through 12. The dates are July 14, July 21, July 28, Aug. 4, Aug. 11 and Aug. 18 from 9 a.m. – 12 p.m. While it is not required for children to attend all sessions, maximum participation is ideal.
